LVDS technology is used in simple line driver and receiver physical layer devices and more complex interface communication chipsets. Channel link chipset multiplexing and demultiplexing slow TTL signal lines to provide narrow High-Speed Low-Power LVDS interface. These chipsets can greatly save the cost of cables and connectors of the system, and can reduce the physical space required by the area occupied by the connectors. LVDS solution provides a new choice for designers to solve the problem of high-speed i/o interface. LVDS provides milliwatt per Gigabit solutions for today's and future high bandwidth data transmission applications.
More advanced bus LVDS (blvds) is developed on the basis of LVDS. Bus LVDS (blvds) is a new series of bus interface circuits based on LVDS technology, which is specially used to realize multi-point cable or backplane applications. Unlike standard LVDS, it provides enhanced drive current to handle the dual transmission required in multipoint applications. Blvds has a low-voltage differential signal of about 250Mv and a fast transition time. This allows the product to achieve a high data transmission rate from 100Mbps to more than 1Gbps. In addition, low voltage swing can reduce power consumption and noise to a minimum. The differential data transmission configuration provides +/-1v common mode range and hot plug devices of the active bus.It is generally used in the industrial field or within the industry. It is widely used in mainboard display and LCD interface.
